This was the first color scheme for my Tau that I tried out.  At the time, I thought the no-nonsense, militaristic look of the Tau Fire Warriors lent itself to more of a drab, "realistic" color scheme.

Since then I've decided that I wanted my Tau to have more of a comic-book or cartoon look to their colors, and have opted for a brighter, more sci-fi palette.

I have also decided to do away with the sloppy look of the paper sashimono and replace it with more high-tech looking banners  made of thin plastic card.
