Shas'ar'tol is the Tau Empire Military High Command.  Orbiting the homeworld of T'au is the fortress-moon Tau'va Mont'Retha, roughly translated as "War Temple of the Tau Empire."  The entire surface of the moon is covered by a massive fortress and military administrative complexes, including training domes, spacecraft docks, defense emplacements, armories, barracks, and the nerve center of the entire Tau military, Run'or'es Shas'ar'tol itself; an enormous gleaming white tower exuding a foreboding power.
