Here is my version of the Frog Legionnaire.
I opted for traditional French colors, which I thought terribly appropriate!
I loved the little details of this model such as the lolling tongue, and the lily pad cockade; very clever and characterful on the part of the sculptor.
He is striding across some messy, muddy stretch of battlefield, passing a broken and discarded cannon wheel (and you can sort of make out a wheel rut where more artillery may have passed).
I had a lot of fun painting this nonsensical miniature, and it was a blast seeing each of our efforts on this friendly little challenge.
